27 young drivers from around the world participated, including some of the world’s top drivers. Within this framework, Elkin took first place in the timing of the race, setting his new record (lap time), and then led the entire race from the start of the competition to the end.
In addition to winning the contest, Elkin was also informed that she had been selected as an ambassador for the fashion brand Lee Cooper.
Elkin is considered one of the best young racing drivers in the world. He lives in Kiryat Yam and studies at Leary School in Haifa. Elkin has been competing in karting since he was five years old, and has been racing in F4 since 2023, driving for the Inter MS team in Miami.
Most recently, he placed third at New Orleans Speedway in the USF Junior, an American racing series that serves as the junior round of the pre-IndyCar round.
Elkin finished third, but stood out on the podium at the trophy ceremony wearing a jumpsuit holding the Israeli flag, the IDF emblem, and the Principality of Monaco flag (as a tribute to the Friends of Israel). in Monaco (his sponsor), and his helmet was emblazoned with a photo of the October 7 hostages. At the trophy ceremony, Elkin waved a helmet with a picture of a hostage on it instead of his third-place trophy on the podium. The podium director asked him to “grab the trophy and throw the helmet aside so we can move forward”, but the driver insisted on standing with the helmet in his hands.
The Lee Cooper campaign featuring Elkin will be released in May and will feature Elkin’s lifestyle photography that combines the new jeans collection with moments from everyday life in racing cars.
“Joining Lee Cooper is a great honor and another important step in my career. I will be representing the brand in joint campaigns and participating global competitions. I’m proud to carry this title and make an impression wherever I go.”
