Police officers involved in clearing protesters from a New York City college campus are sharing signs with terrorist slogans recovered from the scene.
New York City police on Friday destroyed an “illegal camp” at New York University, calling in cleaning crews to remove tents and sweep away protesters’ belongings.
NYPD Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry shared various photos of “inflammatory literature and signs” found at the protests.
“The NYPD proudly protects everyone’s right to free speech and peaceful protest,” Daughtry said in a post before sharing the sign.
One of the documents found on the site explicitly calls for “death to America” and “death to Israeli real estate.”

Speaking to reporters on Friday, NYPD Commissioner John Chell acknowledged that the NYPD conducted two operations involving New York University and New York School “at the request of school principals.”
He confirmed that police officers had arrested 56 people, but there were no incidents. The police chief noted that “99%” of those arrested were students.
A sign recovered from the protest area read: “You will never find a ceasefire from us.”

“Enough de-escalation training. Where’s the de-escalation training!” I added one more.
On April 22, police visited New York University and arrested more than 100 students who were demonstrating in solidarity with Columbia University students and against the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, FOX News correspondent Alexis McAdams reported from campus that anti-Israel agitators had set up camp again.
Fox News Digital’s Lawrence Richard contributed to this report.
